Hello! My name is Grace Qian. I am currently a rising junior at UC
Berkeley (Class of '25) pursuing a BS in Industrial Engineering &
Operations Research (IEOR) and a minor in data science. (GO BEARS!🐻)
As a Turbulent Architect (INTJ-T), I thrive on strategic thinking and
innovative problem-solving. I find joy in constructing efficient
systems and structures that stand the test of complexity. Much like my
architectural pursuits, I am deeply passionate about sports,
particularly volleyball. I relish the thrill of both mental and
physical challenges, pushing my limits through activities like
running, weightlifting, and achieving ambitious fitness goals, such as
mastering pistol squats. 🏋️♀️🏐🏃♀️
Aside from my love of sports, I'm also interested in data science. I
enjoy analyzing complex data sets to find patterns and insights that
can help me make better decisions. Whether it's crunching numbers for
work or analyzing my own fitness progress, I find data science to be a
fascinating field that offers endless opportunities for growth and
learning. 📉📊
I also have a deep appreciation for writing and the arts. I find joy
in expressing myself through various forms of writing, including
poetry and songwriting. This passion for writing has sparked a
fascination with digital humanities, especially when it comes to
analyzing song lyrics. Exploring the intricate meanings behind the
words and the emotions they convey brings me immense satisfaction and
fuels my creative spirit - check out my digital humanities project in
my Project Gallery! Writing allows me to blend my analytical mindset
with my love for storytelling, creating a unique blend of art and
data-driven insights. 🖋️🎵
Overall, I am an analytical and driven individual who is always
seeking to learn and grow in all aspects of my life. 👩💻
